Meet Nena
Nena Pratt, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and Owner of Gentle Soul Massage
Hello! It’s nice to meet you.
I’m Nena (pronounced nee-na; she/they), and I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Gentle Soul Massage located in Beaverton, Oregon. I’m trained in Swedish therapeutic massage and specialize in using light pressure and low-intensity techniques to induce deep relaxation in my highly sensitive clients.
I became a massage therapist in order to work in a field where I am able to listen to what my body needs, to slow down when I need to, and to enjoy the balance between my work and the rest of my life. My practice is motivated by a desire to help others find a place where they feel at home in their bodies and connected in mind, body, and soul.
Deep, nourishing rest is critical for us to thrive as human beings, yet this need is not often prioritized and is even seen as a luxury. We deserve to rest, and our bodies deserve to rest. My mission is to help my clients to create space in their lives and in their bodies for genuine rest and relaxation; to allow them to be more resilient in facing the demands of daily life.
As a profoundly curious person, you can often find me outside of work trying to learn something new — taking a class, trying a new recipe, reading a good book, watching a weird documentary, or maintaining my 1000+ day Duolingo streak.
If you’d like to explore working together, I invite you to contact me or book an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you!
— Nena
